We are always looking for new members and all are welcome. Thank you for considering joining us!
While most of North Liberty Garden Club meetings are held in Knox or Richland County, the club is considered to be a Knox County club.
Does residing outside of Knox County mean that a resident of another county cannot be a member of our club? You can absolutely be a member of the NLGC regardless of where you reside! No matter whether you drive near or far to enjoy gardening with us, we are happy that you are here!
Are there other garden clubs out there to join? Of course! But we're kind of partial to this club and we hope you will be too!
Aren't garden clubs a bunch of ladies in fancy clothes having tea and gossiping? Well...not exactly. Membership isn't gender dependant nor do we require a dress code. As long as your thumbs are green (or trying to be) we'd love to have you. Some of us do drink tea and there are the occasional tea parties. Gossiping? The corn does have ears and the beanstalk.
Whether you are interested in vegetable or flower gardens, potted plants or houseplants, floral arrangements, or hugelkultur. Our garden club is for everyone willing to learn how to make their thumbs greener.
